A national fitting network is being provided through epyx\u2019s 1link Service Network to online tyre retailer CarTyres.com.<\/p>\n
CarTyres.com will provide its customers with fitting choices from the e-commerce platform\u2019s network of 18,000 franchise dealers, national garage chains, independent garages and fast fit centres \u2013 including 317 Halfords Autocentres.<\/p>\n
The company is managed by an experienced online tyre industry team team, led by Chris Grant, who has held senior positions with KwikFit and General Motors, and has developed online tyre platforms for several wholesalers and retailers.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cAround 12% of tyre buyers in the \u00a312.5 billion UK market are now choosing online as their purchasing route and this figure is expected to double within the next couple of years.<\/p>\n
