It’s probably the site’s biggest investment programme since it was first built by Westbury Motor Auctions in 1986,” explained Barry Watts, Group Operations Director at Aston Barclay plc.

“We are proud of our new look site and would welcome local dealers and consumers to pay us a visit to experience one of the most modern vehicle auctions in the country,” he added.

Westbury runs 10 auctions a month, which sees local traders and consumers buying and selling a mix of stock from £500 to up to £80,000, in the case of a Maserati that recently went under the hammer. National leasing companies such as Alphabet, LeasePlan, Zenith, Ogilvie, PSA, Venson and Motability also use the site to sell ex-company cars and vans that are typically two to five years old, which attract buyers from across the south west of England.

Such is the quality and variation of stock at Westbury that buyers purchase vehicles from further afield courtesy of the group’s advanced new online vehicle bidding service, Aston Barclay LIVE.

As part of a family-run vehicle auction group with three other sites in Leeds, Prees Heath in Shropshire and Chelmsford, Essex, Westbury is renowned for its personal and friendly level of service.

Vehicle sellers can request advice from Westbury’s expert team to help them set a reserve price before a car or van goes under the hammer and can have their vehicle valeted or bodywork smart repaired on site to maximise its resale value. Westbury runs its own in-house collection and delivery service for both buyers and sellers.

Visitors to Aston Barclay Westbury have access to free customer parking and Wi-Fi and its modern cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner where auction goers meet to discuss the latest prices and vehicle disposal trends.

“The team at Westbury are proud of their new modern site. Our investment has put both the auction and the town on the map,” added Watts, who has worked in the vehicle auction industry for over 20 years.

Aston Barclay plc, one of the UK’s leading vehicle auction Read More…

[37,41
11,422
post-3411","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-industry-news","category-vra-member-press-release","tag-aston-barclay","tag-vehicle-auction
["GET
