{"id":3319,"date":"2016-03-29T09:24:32","date_gmt":"2016-03-29T09:24:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.lnetdev.uk\/thevra2026\/?p=3319"},"modified":"2016-03-29T09:24:32","modified_gmt":"2016-03-29T09:24:32","slug":"bca-announces-appointment-new-md-technical-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.lnetdev.uk\/thevra2026\/bca-announces-appointment-new-md-technical-services\/","title":{"rendered":"BCA announces appointment of new MD for technical services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TONY\u00a0Booth joins BCA on June 1 as managing director, BCA Technical Services.\u00a0 He joins the company\u00a0from Pendragon, where he held a senior remarketing position.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Booth has more than\u00a025 years of experience in the motor industry in a variety of roles, including managing director for the UK automotive division of Stobart from 2011 to 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Before that, he spent 21 years with BMW where he held several positions including national bodyshop manager, national aftersales manager, aftersales marketing manager, and latterly general manager UK distribution.<\/p>\n<p>His new role encompasses the recently-acquired Ambrosetti business and five additional technical services sites resulting from the SMA and Stobart acquisitions in 2015. These include facilities in Henstridge, Carrington, Doncaster, Stockton and Livingston.<\/p>\n<p>Booth will take responsibility for the profitability and operation of these sites, as well as the development of BCA\u2019s technical services strategy and managing business relations at a senior level with new and existing customers.<\/p>\n<p>Avril Palmer-Baunack, executive chairman, BCA Marketplace plc,\u00a0said: \u2018We are delighted to welcome Tony Booth to the BCA team.
