{"id":3135,"date":"2016-02-16T13:50:41","date_gmt":"2016-02-16T13:50:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.lnetdev.uk\/thevra2026\/?p=3135"},"modified":"2016-02-16T13:50:41","modified_gmt":"2016-02-16T13:50:41","slug":"aston-barclay-plc-agree-solus-deal-vauxhall-specialist-thurlow-nunn-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.lnetdev.uk\/thevra2026\/aston-barclay-plc-agree-solus-deal-vauxhall-specialist-thurlow-nunn-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Aston Barclay plc agree solus deal with Vauxhall specialist Thurlow Nunn Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thurlow Nunn Group broadens links with Aston Barclay<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Three-year association advances to a new all-auction group policy<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Second solus deal in as many months secured for Chelmsford site<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aston Barclay has secured an exclusive agreement with Thurlow Nunn, providing the Vauxhall dealer with remarketing services through its Chelmsford auction centre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The group \u2013 which operates 14 sites across East Anglia, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire \u2013 has advanced its association with Aston Barclay over the last three years, growing from a small number of dealer sites to a group-wide policy and onto this latest all-auction policy for 2016.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Building on the existing Monday evening sale programme, the solus agreement will introduce a premium section to the 2016 auction programme at Chelmsford.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The agreement means Thurlow Nunn will benefit further from the renovated auction halls at Aston Barclay\u2019s main auction centre, served by Aston Barclay\u2019s cloud-based Inventory Management System (IMS).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trade buyers unable to attend an auction will have access to Thurlow Nunn stock via Aston Barclay\u2019s LIVE online service, with bids on physical sales in real-time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The deal is the second solus agreement that Aston Barclay has secured in as many months, following quickly after the announcement that another of its existing clients is opting for a complete remarketing solution at the Chelmsford site.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Martin Potter, Remarketing Director (South), commented on the latest deal: \u201cIt\u2019s great for us to quickly follow up the news of last month\u2019s deal with another positive announcement, especially as we can put it down to great service. Both of these agreements are examples of how our clients like what we do, see results and want to put more vehicles our way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Martin added: \u201cThurlow Nunn is a well-respected name in East Anglia so we are delighted to continue the association.
