{"id":2668,"date":"2015-10-26T16:54:28","date_gmt":"2015-10-26T16:54:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.lnetdev.uk\/thevra2026\/?p=2668"},"modified":"2015-10-26T16:54:28","modified_gmt":"2015-10-26T16:54:28","slug":"pre-registrations-volumes-yet-impact-remarketing-sector-says-nama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.lnetdev.uk\/thevra2026\/pre-registrations-volumes-yet-impact-remarketing-sector-says-nama\/","title":{"rendered":"Pre-registrations volumes yet to impact remarketing sector, says NAMA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-ads-body-copy=\"true\" data-ads-first=\"2\" data-ads-every=\"3\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The growing use of pre-registrations has yet to feed any significant impact into auction values or volumes, according to the National Association of Motor Auctions (NAMA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NAMA said dealers have so far been able to absorb the growing number of nearly new vehicles as manufacturers and dealers seek to achieve ambitious volume targets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Year-on-year, volumes of nearly-new vehicles coming through NAMA\u2019s wide network of auction centres were broadly in line with the activity in the corresponding 2014 period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In terms of average of vehicles in the new \u2013 2.5 year category coming to market, the age actually increased slightly. It appears that pre-registration vehicles are remaining within the franchised network.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paul Hill NAMA chairman, said: \u201cIt seems that for now franchised dealers have been able to absorb the increasing volumes of pre-registered stock that we understand are a growing feature of the market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWith retail sales growth for new cars at a little over 3%, it seems likely that dealers are successfully retailing used stock through, potentially helped by the availability and price of finance.
