On accepting the bid price, the online platform brings both parties together and the vehicle movement is activated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Over 5,000 vehicle dealers and auction companies have signed up to the platform. Over 600 transport companies have registered, with some having completed a few thousand jobs in three years with each supplier also rated on its service.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u201cGenerally a dealer saves between \u00a340 and \u00a360 on each movement. With some dealer groups spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on vehicle movements annually, this level of saving can make a positive impact on a dealer\u2019s bottom line,\u201d explained CEO Daren Jones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Movex\u2019s state-of-the-art backload feature, which is dedicated to filling any empty slots on car transporters or return journeys for trade plate drivers, is a major factor in saving money for dealers. It generates quicker turnaround times, lower prices and provides a return job for the transport company. This win-win situation for both parties is also increasingly environmentally friendly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Jones set up the company after years as a used car trader who always struggled to get used cars collected or delivered on time, and at a reasonable price.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u201cIt was always a challenge to get a vehicle collected or delivered on time so I decided to do something about it. After nine months of development work, the Movex platform was born.
