LeasePlan has announced the winners of its annual supplier awards that recognise outstanding service.<\/p>\n
The awards were presented at the LeasePlan Supplier Conference last month (February), which was held at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire.<\/p>\n
The event was attended by more than 170 of the company\u2019s top suppliers, dealers and manufacturers along with members of the LeasePlan UK managing board and Wolfgang E Reinhold, senior vice president of the worldwide group\u2019s car remarketing operations and procurement.<\/p>\n
The awards dinner, held in the evening, consisted of 12 awards including the coveted \u2018Overall Supplier of the Year\u2019 award.<\/p>\n
The following awards were presented to the top suppliers in recognition of their exceptional service in 2014:<\/p>\n
Auction provider of the year: BCA Nottingham<\/p>\n
Overall remarketing partner of the year: BCA Remarketing Services<\/p>\n
Rental supplier of the year: Thrifty<\/p>\n
Best demonstration of LeasePlan values: Pete Ward of C. Walton<\/p>\n
Leasing Hero of the Year: Caroline Gallagher of Thrifty<\/p>\n
In-Life supplier of the year: The AA<\/p>\n
Indirect supplier of the year: Jaytee Training & Development<\/p>\n
Dealer of the year: John Grose<\/p>\n
Vehicle manufacturer of the year: Volkswagen<\/p>\n
Best supplier innovation of the year: Enterprise Rent A Car<\/p>\n
Best service provision of the year: Chameleon<\/p>\n
Finally, LeasePlan awarded \u2018Overall Supplier of the Year\u2019 to The AA in recognition of their consistently outstanding customer service and for achieving all key performance indicators.<\/p>\n
The AA retained the LeasePlan business in 2014 for a further three years having delivered against their promises during the tender process of improved service, innovation and additional revenue to LeasePlan. It has also supported the LeasePlan ambition to deliver enhanced digital platforms to all customers.<\/p>\n
At the event, the LeasePlan leadership team also shared their \u20182020 Strategy\u2019 which sets out how their suppliers can deliver exceptional service, create greater value, increase innovation and improve efficiency across the business.<\/p>\n
LeasePlan UK\u2019s operations director Matt Cranny said: \u201cAt LeasePlan we truly value the service that our suppliers deliver to our customers on a daily basis.<\/p>\n
