{"id":1650,"date":"2015-03-05T11:23:53","date_gmt":"2015-03-05T11:23:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.lnetdev.uk\/thevra2026\/?p=1650"},"modified":"2015-03-05T11:23:53","modified_gmt":"2015-03-05T11:23:53","slug":"lex-records-7-vehicle-fleet-growth-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.lnetdev.uk\/thevra2026\/lex-records-7-vehicle-fleet-growth-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Lex records 7% vehicle fleet growth in 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The UK&#8217;s largest leasing company Lex Autolease achieved 7% growth in its fleet during 2014 to 297,000 vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Customer assets also increased by 10% to \u00a33.3bn in 2014<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lex said the increases were thanks to investment made as part of a five-year plan unveiled in 2013.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The firm also said it added more than 10,000 cars and 11,000 commercial vehicles to its fleet in 2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It developed new products and services such as a range of vans for SME sector tradesmen and a &#8220;Business Critical&#8221; service for fleets that are subject to specific performance criteria or carry time-sensitive loads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Our aspiration is to remain the fleet provider of choice in the UK and we are pleased with the progress achieved to date.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Business confidence is strong at the moment and we have benefited from this renewed sense of optimism,&#8221; said Tim Porter, managing director of Lex Autolease.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;We recognise this is a challenging target and we still have a lot of work to do.
